An amazing look into the world of federal crime, particularly sociopathic murder. The details of the minds of the physcopaths was very grim/ The sad part is that it is all true. The book details the emergence of physcopathic profiling as developed by the FBI, and in particular, the author of this tome, Patrick Mulllany. His diligence in the hostage situations saved many lives.

I would recommend this book to anyone who seeks inside information on some of the more interesting criminal cases in recent history. Most readers would be unaware of the details involved in the buildup, consequences and resolution of such cases. Very interesting read!!

A teaser/sample, not an actual, "book"

Meet Your Boss Chris Baker is every submissive male and Dominant female's fantasy come true! During this extremely brief story, we are introduced to a very cocky and confident man named Richard who we shadow on his first day at work as a new lawyer. When he meets his new boss, he is shocked to discover that she is a stunning woman he had seen in passing earlier that day. Always confident in his sexual prowess, Richard immediately hits on his new boss. Ms. Baker is not your wilting flower though, she is the opposite. Miss Baker will set an ultimatum for Richard and it doesn't take him long to make a decision! After a very brief yet hot femDom scene, the story ends with hey huge cliffhanger requiring the reader to pay for additional material in order to find out what happens next. If this had been more than a sample, I would have rated it higher but as it is now, this is simply a teaser, not a true, "book".

Short and sweet

when I came to the end I had to look back and see what happened. I couldn't believe it was finished already. it just got interesting and then it was over. kinda like Chris did to Richard, for him it just got interesting and then she ended it, talk about feeling ripped off. it needs a lot more to be called a book. it seems like it's going to be good, but then it's done. not even hint of a follow-up.

Good book only 1 problem.

It's short. (I know it's a short story and I haven't read the rest of the story's) But I feel like so much was left out.

But all in all I was happy with the story, no glaring faults (spelling, run-on's etc) Its worth reading and I will be looking into the other books soon. :)

His areas of specialization include both thermal sciences and biomedical engineering, including the development and application of laser-based diagnostic techniques and general laser-material interactions.

The late M. Necati Özişik retired as Professor Emeritus of North Carolina State University's Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department, where he spent most of his academic career. Professor Özişik dedicated his life to education and research in heat transfer. His outstanding contributions earned him several awards, including the Outstanding Engineering Educator Award from the American Society for Engineering Education in 1992.

excellent book !!

This is by far my favorite book on conduction.Very clear exposition on all topics raging from the classic method of separation of variables to integral transform.However i must warn that this is a book of how to solve partial differential equation of heat conduction.The reader looking for physics explanation should buy the excellent book from arpaci.

Illegible scanned equations and tables; Kindle for Mac application is buggy.

I'm reading Hahn's Conduction Heat Transfer 2013 textbook. The Bessel function tables in teh back of the book along with numerous other diagrams, equations, etc. are terribly reproduced--low resolution/scan quality. Some equations are illegible. This book was NOT WORTH $90!

First experience using an engineering/scientific textbook through Kindle. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! I am hopeful image/table reproduction quality will improve. Until then I will be purchasing paper copies. The Kindle Mac application is also quite sluggish to respond to mouse clicks / page turns.

The bible of separation of variables methods

Three things:
- the book is used but in perfect conditions, corners damaged just a little (4/5)
- the text fits perfectly the needs of a course i follow (5/5)
- full of example, exercises and very clear in every chapter (5/5)
